At maturity, investors can pay a Final Instalment to receive the shares, roll into a new Instalment MINI series or walk away from the investment receiving the residual value. Investors in CitiFirst instalment warrants (including SFI, reset and instalment MINI warrants) should note that from 5 October 2021 they will not be able to defer the payment of their final instalment (at the maturity of the warrant) by rolling into a new series of instalment warrants, unless they are a ‘wholesale client’ under the Corporations Act.
